All Offkut Studio’s garments are either ready-made and ready for dispatch, available for pre-order or made-to-order (MTO). This information will be detailed in the product's descriptions.

Ready Made

Garments that are ready-made aim to be dispatched within 1-5 working days from the order date.

Pre-Order

Garments that are "pre-order" are produced from scratch in the UK from the order date. An approximate timeframe is added to the product descriptions as a guide but the wait time for dispatch varies from product to product depending on the number of units ordered, the manufacturers schedule and material deliveries. Once you have placed your pre-order, the next notification you will receive is a shipping confirmation email. If there are any unexpected delays, we will contact you with updates. We aim to dispatch pieces as quickly as possible.

Made-To-Order

Garments that are Made-to-Order are usually made in house by our talented seamstresses. As they are made in house we can monitor turnaround time and keep it to a minimum so you can get your order as soon as possible. The sooner an item is ordered after release, the sooner it will be made and dispatched to you. An approximate timeframe is always added to the product descriptions.

Combined Orders

Orders that contain both ready-made and pre-order/made-to-order garments will be dispatched after the pre-ordered/MTO garment has been produced. If you wish to receive one before the other you will need to place separate orders.

Delivery Costs

Shipping costs vary depending on weight & location of the order.

For UK addresses, delivery is usually £5.

For International addresses, shipping is automatically calculated at checkout based on weight and shipping country.

Delivery Time

Delivery to UK addresses takes approximately 1-3 working days.

Delivery to international addresses can take 4-18 days depending on the destination country.

Customers will receive an email with tracking information to track the location of their order.

Customs

Taxes and import duties may be charged when the shipment reaches the destination country. This cost is not included in the price of the products or shipping and must be paid by the customer.

Offkut Studio Ltd has no control over the cost of taxes and duties. Before placing your order, we encourage you to research the import taxes and duties charges in your delivery destination.

In the event that the parcel is returned to Offkut Studio Ltd due to the customer’s refusal to pay the customs and duties charges, we will not provide a on the shipping and any other fees incurred. We will be in touch to arrange re-delivery.

Lost or Damaged Parcels

Offkut Studio is not responsible for lost or damaged parcels and will not send a replacement or process a refund. Please email us if your order is taking longer than expected so we can investigate further and find a solution

Parcels returned to us due to incorrect address entered at checkout

If the postal service (Royal Mail) note on tracking that the parcel is returned to sender due to incorrect address please alert us so we can actively look out for its return. The postal addresses are pulled directly from information the customer enters at checkout so you are encouraged to double check the address as the customer will be liable if the parcel is deemed lost in transit. Once it is returned to us we can resend it to the correct address or offer store credit if you no longer wish to receive it. If the parcel is lost in transit whilst returning to sender we are not able to send a replacement or process a refund until investigated further.

We encourage intentional shopping to reduce waste and over-consumption, but if a return is necessary, our policy is here to guide you through the process.

Exchanges will be accepted for a different size, all exchange requests must be made within 14 days of receiving your order by emailing contact@offkutstudio.com. Once approved, you have a further 5 working days to send back the return, we must receive it within this time. Exchanges are only processed upon receipt of returned item(s) and are based on stock availability. 

Returns for refund to original payment method must be requested within 14 days from the delivery date by emailing contact@offkutstudio.com. Once we approve your return request, you have a further 5 working days to send the return back, we must receive it within this time. There will be a £5 handling fee to process your return. This fee is deducted from your refund.

Initial shipping fees are not refunded. 

Return costs are not covered by Offkut Studio, returns can be sent back with the shipper of your choice. You must email tracking details once you have dispatched your order.

Returns must be sent back in their original condition, tag attached, unworn and unwashed. We will not accept clothing that shows any signs of wear.

We only offer store credit or exchanges on sales, as all sale items are final.

Offkut Studio reserves the right to refuse any returns which do not meet our return policy requirements or are returned without a request on the system. 

If your item is faulty (this does not include faulty due to signs of wear or mistreatment) you have 6 months to contact us about the fault and return it to us. You will be offered a repair or replacement or store credit totalling the value of your purchase. If your item arrives faulty and is in unworn condition, please contact us as soon as possible so we can out it right for you.

All returns are processed in our studio once a week, so you should receive your refund or exchange within 7 working days of it arriving to us. 

If it is more convenient to drop off your return / receive an exchange at our studio then please get in touch. Our studio is based in Dalston and you are welcome to arrange an in person drop off with us.
